Beauty – Hauls – Reviews – Youtube
This is so exciting! The last post of the year and it had to be a wonderful one for my beautiful and supportive readers. I debated so many times before I actually added this palette to my collection. Every time I walked into Sephora I would swatch it and would leave it on its stand; I finally made the decision to get it and I don’t regret one bit of my decision. I have the Vice 2 palette and the Vice 3 is definitely a lot creamier, I am so happy with both palettes because they carry such a wide range of colours that do not exist in any other palettes and in my collection. Because I am a new Beauty Blogger and building my collection slowly, I usually buy things and colours that do not previously exist in my collection. Let’s review the palette now; it is beautiful packaged, beautiful colours, and it has an amazing little tote for brushes, makeup, or even to take care of the Vice 3 palette while travelling. Vice 3 palette is sold at Sephora, in stores only, and Urban Decay official website retailing for $70 for 20 different shades, which makes each shade around $3.5 and that’s what makes it a great value. I absolutely love palettes because the price of each shadow is the cheapest that you can ever get, cheaper than drug store products even. I want to say that they also improved the packaging, because the mirror can now stand at a certain point and not open all the way to end. The people with the Vice 2 palette will understand the convenience of the mirror standing straight on its own.
The Vice 3 palette has a great array of warm colours and the selling point for me were the reds and plums because I don’t have them and they look great on. This palette is designed in a way where every column creates its own complimentary colours where you can use them together. For instance, the shades Truth, Undone, Downfall, and DTF create a quad for a special look. The looks that can be created with this palettes are endless. The neutral shades on the far left have a little bit of fall outs, but they are build-able colours, if you use them gradually with little bit on the brush, you will have little to no fallouts, the control is between your hands. This palette has been laying on my vanity for the past week and I haven’t used anything else. If you are someone who loves colours with a little bit of neutrals, you will love his palette because it has great neutrals, transitional shades, and amazing chic pop of colours. I must say that the colours that seem a little scary to me are Dragon and Freeze, but I know that they will be great for a pop of colour on the lower lash line. I hope you really enjoyed my post and my swatches!
Happy New Year! I wish you nothing but happiness, health, and many blessings. May you achieve all the goals you want and all the dreams you have. I truly love all your support and I am so thankful for you being so nice to me, ever since I started my blog, last February.
Let me know what you think of any of the Vice palettes and what is your New Year Resolution?
