Favorites from Alluring Aquatic MAC Collection

I was so excited for this to come out on Thursday; I went to the closest MAC store to pick up my favorites. I did not want to place an order online mainly because I like to see the colors and I wanted to check how the extra skin dimension texture feels like since I have not owned anything like it before. Let me tell you, it is absolutely beautiful! I am so totally in love with how it feels, the finish, and the glow is just all-perfect. I will definitely be purchasing any extra skin dimension products that come out soon. The two potential lipsticks that I could have possibly bought were very similar to Kinda Sexy and Lustre by Mac so I picked up a very new lip glass instead. It is clear but has amazing sparkles and gorgeous pink undertones. I cannot wait to layer it on top of other lipsticks (especially Pink ones like Snob). The lip glass is called Clear Water.

PicMonkey Collage I picked up an extra dimension blush and I held myself from Thursday till today not to use just so I can photograph it for you guys, and trust me, I can get impatient. I swatched the color in store and for you guys and it looked perfect especially with the finished glow that it has. I cannot wait to use it. There are only two blushers and I picked Seduced at Sea because it has more of peachy undertones than the other blush, where it has pink undertones. I would personally prefer the peach undertones in any blush. All the eyeshadow colours are beautiful but I picked the lightest shade and it is called Loreili. The texture of the shadow and blushers are a little creamy yet powdery at the same time and the finish is just the beautiful subtle glow. I loved the texture so much and figured that I want a color that I will use all the time as a base or for blending instead of getting a dark colour that I will occasionally use. It is a beautiful champagne color. I am thinking that I will be picking up an extra dimension bronzer as well since I love the texture and the consistency of the product!

Have you picked up anything from the collection; what is your favorite product?

Great haul! I also stopped by and picked up some things, I would love it if you checked out my new post : http://dialovesmakeup.wordpress.com/2014/05/27/mac-cosmetics-haul-swatches-and-reviews-alluring-aquatic-and-new-collections/
(I just started blogging yesterday, so let me know what you think!)

So far, I’m in love with the 3D packaging, and the turquoise blue color – ugh, it’s gorgeous! I’m tempted to go back and get the shimmery bronzer compact, it swatched so beautifully, I’m curious to see how it would work as a warm eyeshadow color as well! :)
