I always had and always been using my regular powders that match your skin tone but depending on the look you want to achieve and depending on the foundation your are using; a white setting powder may be just the perfect idea. I love my new HD Makeup Forever setting pressed powder. It is great and amazing for those with oily skin, it is so mattifying and it really does make the skin look flawless. It is white though so you have to be careful with the amount you are placing on the brush because too much of the product can make you look washed out a bit. I never use this powder all over my face because it is white and I use it more for the places I want to highlight (under eyes, forehead, chin, around mouth, and bridge of the nose). I use it with the small Sigma fluffy brush because it is small yet fluffy enough to set the powder and get into the small areas I want to highlight. It is a great product; I have been using it all the time ever since I got it and I like the brightening effect it gives on my face. Makeup Forever just recently came out with this pressed powder; before, it was loose and I never thought in my life that I would buy the loose powder because it really does create a mess. Once the pressed one came out, it was mine right away. Let me know what you think – using white powder to set your makeup might be new to some people but it is translucent. What do you think of the concept?
