3 Reasons why makeup removing wipes is essential in YOUR kit!

Essential # 2

Makeup removing wipes comes in handy all the time during the application and removal of makeup. Why do you need the wipes in your kit?

  1.  When you apply heavy eye makeup specifically with dark colors, it is suggested you do so before your foundation routine. After applying your eye makeup, grab a piece of wet wipes and clean all the fall outs under the eye. This will help prep and clean your skin for a flawless foundation routine.
  2.  Cleaning your face at night is essential after all your makeup, the dirt and the bacteria that your face attracted. You must go to bed with a clean face (I will be doing a post on night skin routine). I enjoy going to bed with a clean face! I first clean my eyes with eye makeup remover, use the wipes for my face, and then wash it very well for a minute. The wet cloth helps to clean your face and get all your makeup off.
  3.  When you apply makeup, make sure you do a quick cleaning for your brush daily with rubbing it through the wet wipes. This will help to get the dark colors off and will also help to keep your brushes clean leaving it with a great scent as well.

My understanding is that it is better to use soap & water to wash off the makeup better than rubbing it into the skin pores by the makeup wipes! Special facial soap or cleanser of course 😱

Of course it is better, but after cleaning all the make up and then use soap and luke warm water to open your pores again. By the end of the day the pores are already clogged from all the makeup and dirt. There are special brushes that are amazing to take makeup off!

I use Olay as it’s my fav makeup wipes. There is also another one that i use as well, Caudalie make up remover. It’s a soap-free cleansing water that effectively removed makeup while cleansing and toning the skin.

That’s a good idea for the brushes! I actually just for some inexpensive, non brand ones the other day for wiping off swatches :)
